A farewell to a beloved friend!

Big adjustment: Our dear Carolina Roa will no longer be teaching the Spanish classes here in San Carlos. We wanted to take an opportunity to publicly praise and thank her for her contribuitions thus far.  She has received an appointment teaching English to at-risk youth in the Hermosillo public school system.

Heather and I couldn't be happier or more proud of her. These few years, we have seen her blossom into a disciplined, confident and talented professional.

Carolina, Teresita, Heather and I partnered in March 2007 to launch the Espanglish Institute , opening our doors for classes in September of that year. Together, we've seen major changes in location, staff, curriculum, programs and clientel. We were especially delighted to obtain official recognition as an accredited institute from the Dept of Education of the State of Sonora in 2009. Carolina was instrumental in that effort!

Though no longer teaching on a daily basis here in San Carlos, she continues to serve as the Academic Director of our Spanish programs and Laison to the State of Sonora.
